My brother-in-law is getting married in September. He and his wife-to-be met at Wrigley Field two years ago. I know its a long shot but I am trying to find some memorabilia from that night to be framed. Ideally I would want to find a lineup card or official score card but a game day program or something would be amazing.

The game that I am looking for is May 19th 2004. It was against the Giants where Moises Alou hit a 10th inning homerun to put the Cubs over San Fran.

If anyone has anything that they would be willing to sell or any ideas on where I could look, it would be much appreciated.

My email is johnawells@gmail.com and my AIM screen name is mrmejw.

I thought I could help, but I can't find anything from that night. I was there for that game and the next. I proposed on the 20th, so I made sure to keep all of those things. I must've misplaced all of my stuff from the 19th. I will keep looking though.

I don't know if it helps at all but I remember the exact game you are referring to. Jason Dubois hit a sac fly in his first eagerly anticipated plate appearence to tie things before Alou homered. Also, I clearly remember this game being on ESPN. Maybe you might want to try to contact MLB.com. I know starting in 2003 they used to archive games with MLB.tv. I was able to watch games from the 2003 season well into 2004. They might still have the game on archive.

This probably offers absolutely no help to you, but I thought I'd add input.

I too was at that game and may have a ticket stub at home. I was sitting about 10 feet from where Alou's home run ball landed. WOW!!

I was watching that game from the hospital delivery room. At 12:12 AM on May 20th, Addison Grace Nickelson was born.

I remember it well. My wife had just received her epidural and told me she didn't care what I did.

Same here, actually! That was a crazy ending.

Before that fateful game, Sammy sneezed his back out.

I had driven about 1,500 miles to catch a few games and the afternoon that I arrived I heard on the radio that Sammy had sneezed, hurt his back, and wasn't going to play. I was pissed!

Hopefully his wedding is more successful than the 2004 Cubs.

I would kill to be watching the 2004 Cubs right now.

Yeah, back when we had a shot at winning.
