damn it, i had everything going perfect for me in the cin/mil game. harang had a QS and a shot at the win and bush had a QS, but no chance at a loss. then harang goes out for the seventh and it falls apart.

wow, just checked in on the cubs' game...how the f do the cubs have clemens up to 105 pitches in the 5th? picked a bad time (for me, at least) to work the count for the first time this year.

I believe it would go head-to-head which would give Sanitizers the tie-break.

 

As far as I know we would both make the playoffs though. Top 3 teams in each division get in, if I remember correctly.

Yes, that's what it is. Top team in each division gets a bye in the first round (playing a meaningless game against a non-playoff team) while #2 plays #3.

 

Not that any of this matters to me, since unlike Jim Hendry I'm capable of admitting I'm not a contender. :D

Put Madson in the lineup. Although, Boof had a possible start on Sunday before being sent down. I didn't put Madson in til after the start of today's games meaning he did NOT give me an extra start.

 

Hopefully, I won't need it. Funny I trade away 2 of my best offensive players and I lead the league in scoring this week. Of course, I have had 5 starts....but 3 of them have been bad.

oddly enough, it didn't bother me much last week when alamo stealth's lineup featured 2 guys on the DL, one RP, and brad "0 for june" ausmus over posada. but now that they're w/in 10 points of the team one game ahead of me in the standings, i find it a bit irksome.

 

i could use an alamo comeback and some really, really bad pitching from HBC's remaining two starters.
