It is my opinion that Perez and Uribe are the same player except that Uribe has a little more power and doesn't fool himself into thinking he can bat left handed.

Neifi bats lefty so he can try to beat out all the groundballs he hits to 2nd so he can work off all the baby fat.

Is Baker going to have a talk with Pierre like he did with Cedeno yesterday?

Technically, it was. Pierre looked back which means it was suppose to be a hit and run. Ronny also shook his head because he knew he missed it...

It really does seem though that the Cubs miss a lot of signs.

 

maybe it's hard to realize what exactly the sign is when it invovles the position of a toothpick and how many times the manager flicks his tounge ;)

Isn't it possible that Pierre got the wrong sign though (not saying that is true, but's possible)
