I'm guessing Rundle and Renshaw are currently down in Mesa, but haven't been playing due to tweaking mechanics and whatnot.

Gwaltney went 2 innings giving up 2 runs. Oscar Bernard is now pitching for the Cubs.

Mesa now trails 4-2 in the 8th as Phil Norton gave up 2 runs in the 6th, including a homer.

Mesa loses 5-3. Oscar Bernard came in for 3 innings after Gwaltney gave up 2, and Bernard pitched 3 nearly perfect innings, only allowing 1 hit. Phil Norton took the loss as he gave up 3 hits, 2 runs, and had a K in 2 innings. Time to give it up Phil. Perez pitched the 8th and allowed 2 hits and an ER. Malone was the bright spot on offense for Mesa today as he went 2/3 with a HR and a triple. He also had a walk. Gilbert and Valentin had the other RBI's for Mesa; Valentin having an RBI double. Lopez had a double and Parker had a single as well for Mesa.
