Tossing Glendon Rusch, the gas can lefty that he is, out on the mound against an almost all righty, power hitting team like Detroit with the wind blowing out, who couldn't predict how that would turn out?

 

Angel Guzman, the clear cut, obvious choice to for the Friday start pitched quite well.

 

Dusty should be fired today. Inexcusable stupidity. Plain and simple. And then Hendry and MacPhail should fire themselves.
