Dempster should not be bood after blowing that save.

I don't care what kind of logic for it anyone wants to throw my way.

i agree, its not his fault he dosent get any work because the rest of his teammates suck

the bleachers have also gotten to be really annoying, its no longer fun sitting there. the people are all [expletive] to begin with, add beer and its unbearable. 99 percent know nothing about baseball and talk out of their ass. seriosuly hearing Adam Dunn Sucks, Brian Giles sucks ect ect ect gets old really fast when they are beating us.

You can insult Jacque all you want. Pick on Ramirez's slow start. Complain about the rookies. But I implore you. Do not put any blame on beer. Beer didn't ask to be poured in Wrigley Field. Beer didn't ask to hang out with idiots in the bleachers. We knew coming in what beer could and could not do (that's a lie, there is nothing beer can't do), and beer lived up to its contract. This is not a beer problem.

"Jock" Jones .773 ops

Corey .733 ops

Jones has been better and how many [expletive] chances should corey have got to fail miserably w/ the cubs?

wow, this thread got pretty colorful in the time I was away

Can we just agree that virtually no one on the team is playing to their potential right now and that they all need to get their collective heads out of their collective rectums or the season will be over before June 1st?

I think Freddie Bynum is as good as he'll ever be.

I think the point was that they're equally bad.

As for me, I'd rather give the younger, cheaper, faster player the chances than give them to almost the same player on a 3 year contract for $15 mil.

I concede this point. Perhaps I should have specified everyone not named Freddie, Neifi or Hank

How about guys named Jerry? I'm getting ready to call Naperville and tell them they can have him back.

Watch the language folks.

What's this about??

It means watch your language. People have been using clever contractions and characters to represent words that are clearly stated in the NSBB Guidelines as inappropriate. Warnings, suspensions and bannings will follow if the behavior doesn't stop.

Can we impose any such penalties on our beloved Cubbies? O:)

We can most certainly impose them on you for using "cubbies" unless you are a hot (slutty) sorority girl.

Well, for one I was being sarcastic, and second, this is a family site (though lately its been less than familial).

And now I'm curious as to what it was that I said that led you to direct this at me.

What makes you think it was directed at you? He quoted nobody in that post, and it followed a post by somebody else.

Jones is nearing .275...just incase anyone is wondering, he's hitting .306 with an .803 OPS this month. Actually that probably went up tonight.

Fake Edit: Okay yeah, i looked it up on Cubs.com which actually has tonights stats updated already, and he's now .321 with an .836 OPS for the month of may. He's also hitting .344 at Night compared with .184 during the day, with a .280 point difference in SLG as well.
