Thank goodness. Barry didn't make Hill blue.

If you had to choose either Juan Pierre or Johnny Damon to hit you with a ball from center field while standing on second base, who would you choose to bounce the ball at you?

Their combined arm strength would get the ball to home on two bounces.

Does Damon have Jesus hair or not? That's an important factor.

The difference is that Johnny Damon is an all around better center fielder, through and through.

I don't disagree. However, that still doesn't make him throw any harder than my mom.

Once, while standing near the visitor's bullpen before a Marlins game during batting practice at Wrigley, I watched Juan Pierre play catch with one of the Marlins' pitchers.

Juan was standing around 2nd base and the pitcher was standing right in front of the wall behind the bullpen. Juan threw the ball, the pitcher failed to catch it, and it hit a little kid in the head.

The kid cried for a few seconds, but everyone knew he wasn't hurt because it was a Juan Pierre throw.

A bunch of Marlins pitchers autographed the ball for the kid, by the way.

It was probably Steve Bartman's little brother.
