Watch it, some Card fan is going to reply that its not so out of the ordinary, that such a thing happens for every team. That Ponson always had the potential to do so and it just so happens he decided to be great the moment he put a Cardinal uniform.

As a Cubs fan I have no problem admitting that Dave Duncan is the pitching coach god......the Anti-Rotschild as it were.

 

Duncan takes sucky pitchers and makes them great (Ponson, Carpenter, Suppan)

 

Rothshild takes awesome pitchers and makes them suck (Zambrano, Prior, Wood)
