We will score 7 runs or more tonight.

bold statement. I hope you're right.

Especially since the last time we scored 7 or more runs was April 23 against St. Louis.

Someone's channeling Fred.

23 April is correct.

Hill was interviewed on the pregame show. He's scheduled to pitch an inning or two tonight in relief (if needed) and to start on Thursday.

If he pitches tonight, wont he go on 3-day rest?

Yeah but maybe he has a regular side session 3 games before his start? I'm sure they won't let him expend too much energy.

that seems pretty stupid.

It must be something they do. Guzman threw a side session on Monday 4/24 right after the game and started on that next Wednesday the 26th. Again, They probably won't let him make any more pitches than they would normally allow in a side throw. Then again, he mioght not pitch at all but he did say that he's available in the pen tonight (but they said the same thing about Guzman).

We're all basically on our knees before Marshall tonight:

"Please dear GOD. Give us some pitching tonight"

oh believe me, i'm happy he's up. i just don't want him to get messed up by relieving tonight, have a bad start thursday and find himself back to AAA.
