I love how people are actively rooting against Minnesota. Do they trade down now?

 

the vikes are the only real compititon to da beloved in the division. GB Sox, detroit Sox...

 

 

I bet they draft defense now...

Now here come the wild cards. Cleveland is pretty much a lock to make a stupid pick so let's see what they do.

Man, Cutler is one of the least athletic looking good athletes I've seen.

 

IMO he'll be the best QB in the draft.

I don't know who will be the best in the draft, but I predict that it won't take much.

Who did Denver trade to get that pick? Did they give up their 15th pick?

 

Traded up to St. Louis spot. I believe a 3rd rounder was involved as well. St. Louis take the 15th spot.

No offense, but he did go to Vanderbilt. I'm not saying he's going to be horrible, and I think he'll be better than Vince Young, but I have to doubt him because he went to Vanderbilt. Althouth Roethlisberger did go to Miami (Ohio) so who knows.

i absolutely love this pick, jake has 2-3 more of his prime years, which will be about the time we could expect cutler to come in, he was also much better than any other player we could have expected at #15, except i am a little suprised we passed on ngata, who would have been a great addition to the line.

Interesting move by the Broncos.

 

My guess is the Broncos wanted him badly enough and felt he wouldn't be there later.

 

Could be, but I don't think Baltimore would need a QB, since they seem so darned committed to Boller, even though Boller isn't good.

 

Cleveland didn't need a QB. Philly maybe might need one, so that's a good thought.

 

I thought St. Louis could had used one, since whenever Bulger gets hurt, the Rams fall apart. Of course, the Rams does need a run-stopping DT.

Even though Leinart is going to get a lot less money at #10 than he would have getting drafted #1 last year, I have to think that he has to be much happier that he stayed in school. He got to stay and be a god at USC and now gets to go to an offense with the Edge, Larry Fitzgerald, and Anquan Boldon instead of getting hammered in SF with a horrible team. I know it's the Cardinals but they're looking much better than the Niners are.
