ok so, why did the saints get reggie bush when they have deuce? i know mcallister was hurt last year but he is a very good rb.

According to Bensen, you don't pass up a talent like Reggie Bush.

Houston did.

I think they are taking Jackson. Great move by Steelers if so. Rumors they wanted Lendale White at 32.

I never bought those rumors. lenDale White has too many character issues to be a Steelers pick

This response is way late, but I don't think LenDale has character issues. He had an injury and was struggling to deal with it. Whoever gets him now is getting a steal, IMO. I like the move by the Steelers since they had picks to burn, but I would have loved LenDale at 32.

Because Houston is cheap or stupid. Or both.

I'm so mad at the Bears - didn't like trading down with the amount of talent still available. And then Marcedes gets gobbled up 2 picks later. :(

Stupid? Maybe. Cheap? Absolutely not. They gave Williams 6 yrs $54 mil.

Domanick Davis is still a good RB. They don't need offense. I still think they've had a good draft at this point.

They came to an pre-arranged contract with Mario Williams - I have a feeling Reggie Bush was asking for more than Houston wanted to pay, so they went to option B.

I'd rather have traded down than pay #1 overall money for Mario Williams. It's not like the Texans didn't have a bunch of holes and could have used the extra picks.

Houston still gave Mario Williams more than any first round pick had ever gotten before. So whether with Bush or Williams they would still have handed out a record setting deal.

The Packers are out of control.

well we have 2 2nd round picks and at least 2 3rd round picks as well. I guess Thompson thinks quantity is better than quality.

What'd they get for that pick that they traded Walker for? I'm so confused right now.

we traded that pick to Atlanta for what I'm assuming will be their 2nd round pick (47th overall) as well as a later round pick. We traded our orginal pick (36th overall) to New England for their 2nd and 3rd round picks. Pretty confusing, but we could have had either Jackson or Justice which leaves me pretty upset right now.

The Packers got the Broncos' 37th pick for Javon Walker.

New Orleans trades their 2nd-rounder to Denver, who trades it for Javon Walker, and Green Bay trades it to Atlanta presumably for 3rd-rounders. I can see why you're confused.
