Garwilly and Vance report that they have spoken with Dusty Baker, who told them than Guzman is up, Jerome Williams is down. For the time being, Angel will be used out of the bullpen, and we will not have a 5th starter.

Well.... in the first 3 games of the sans Lee era...... it's 1 start for Walker at 2b, 1 start for Hairston at 2b, and 1 start for Perez at 2b. The only pattern I see there is the lack of a pattern. Makes me wonder if it might even have been Maddux's idea to have Neifi play 2nd today. Who knows?
