I would've put Walker at second (with the lack of offense tonight) and Hairston in RF.

i'm pretty sure all of us would. I really don't understand why Baker didn't do this.

I don't know. He wouldn't be guaranteed 2 ABs in that spot and it might be worth waiting until they get the right situation to use him. He's the only power they've got on the bench.

This is exactly what jerome needed to do tonight.

he's definitely gave us a chance to win tonight. Our offense just needs to wake up and put some runs on the board for him.

Better than three HRs.

Alright, who wants to place a bet on how Pierre gets out next inning?

1-3?

4-3?

5-3?

6-3?

3 unassisted?

1 unassisted?

Member baker being [expletive] about hairston last year in LF.

I don't mind Pierre taking his hacks, trying to beat the ball into the ground, and attempting bunt hits. Problem is, he gets behind in the count early and always ends up getting terrible pitches thrown his way...which he will make contact with and inevitably slap it on the ground to an infielder.

He'll get hot at some point, but right now...yeesh.
