If Bonds wants to relieve the unbearable scrutiny, then RETIRE.

All he's doing is padding stats that were acheived by using roids anyway. What a charade----people are supposed to just sit by quietly? Don't think so.

If you want out of the circus, then take off the clown suit.

Bonds started his career saying and acting like he didn't care what the fans thought about him. If he wanted the fans to love him he shouldn't have been such a jerk. Wanting the fans to love him now just makes him look pathetic.

I think Bonds will retire soon if he continues to make a fool out of himself at the plate.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that he's making a fool out of himself. Last time I checked, he was in the top 10 in OBP.

Just because of IBBs.

Those are still walks. If they want to make him ineffective, they need to challenge him.

They should because it doesn't look like he can hit or run.

That I can agree with. I haven't seen him play the field yet, but I saw him trying to leg out a double a couple days ago. It looked painful. He ran like my grandma. His knee has got to be about shot.
