Can I take Pena out of my lineup? I only started him because I thought Guillen was gonna start on the DL. It's cool if I can't.

Who is Pena? Carlos? Tony?

Wily Mo Coyote.

What's the justification for benching him? Is he not playing?

Yeah, he's just not playing. It doesn't matter really. I took a gamble that Jose Guillen would be DL'd, so I started Pena.

I did switch out Cuddyer, but I switched him back since he is playing today. I'll just tough it out with the part timer.

Thanks for honoring the request anyway.

I'm glad you didn't. I was shocked he was waiting for me in the 3rd round of the draft. He even called me after my second pick and expressed how badly he wanted to play on my team.

How could I not pick him?

if he was still eligible at catcher, i would have no doubt kept him.

Holy dog poop, Batman. Shelton is a stud. I hadn't yet checked the Roadkill game center before commenting on Shelton. 30 points already this season!

Baez is looking like a real good pickup for you now, since Gagne is having more elbow surgery. I had Baez last year, but didn't think he was worth using a keeper on since I had Cordero and Ryan, and at the time Baez looked like he'd be a setup guy.

And it starts again. After a year of Vlad turning his ankle at 3B, Clement getting hit by linedrives, constant starters leaving games early due to injury....it starts again.

First Derek Lowe tries to pitch sick and gets bombed.

Then Santana loses a QS with 1 out to go.

Now, Noah Lowry leaves after 1 2/3

My starters have combined for -.1 so far this season. I have the 2nd lowest point total in the league, but only trail by 4.

I've had Doumit and Kinsler get benched for lesser players for a combined 3 games this week. Wily Mo not get any PT. I haven't played with a full team all week.

Wily Mo was never going to be an everyday player with Boston. Ortiz is the DH, and he won't be sitting much. Manny is in LF, and he's not sitting. Crisp is the CF and he'll play everyday. That leaves RF, and Trot is not only a hometown favorite, he's the lefty side of a left/right platoon, and there's more righty starters than lefty.

Good news is Wily Mo will probably start when Randy Johnson and Johan Santana are on the mound. :D

Not only do I have a pitcher go on the DL after an inning of work, but I'm getting insult to my injury with the likes of Nick Johnson, Aaron Boone, Shannon Stewart, and Jose Reyes combining for about 8 HRs. That's about half of what they hit total last year.

My pitching line so far:

33.2 INN, 58 HA, 14 BBI, 23 K, 32 ER, W, 4 L, HD, 94 TBA

I didn't expect it to be great, but I thought at least Carlos and Pettite would be in the positive!

I need some big offensive numbers...........a bad start for the opposition wouldn't be bad!!!!
