Hmmm, FSN Midwest, Cardinal station carrying Cardinal game, multiple cameras, instant replay.

And lets apply a little logic, if Edmonds is the one that STARTED the barking, is he going to just suddenly STOP? That seems unlikely, so it is POSSIBLE but not probable.

he did keep on barking from the dugout. funny, my tape shows differently than yours.

You have a little problem stitch, in Sun nite's post you claim

What you left out was that Edmonds posed and then started the talk as he rounded the bases
NOW you claim you have the tape and the Edmonds was barking from the dugout. Now lets get back to my

logic question, if Edmonds was the one who STARTED the barking, then wouldn't he continue barking all the way around the bases? and wouldn't he be barking back at Z as he rounded the bases? So wouldn't the tape that you say shows Edmonds barking from the dugout also show him barking around the basepaths, yet you don't claim that. So which is more likely, a camera focusing on Edmonds trotting around the basepaths when he supposedly started the barking OR a camera focusing on Edmonds in the dugout afterwards as the game on the field is continuing and a live AB is going on?

it's been a dark, dark time for him with search disabled. manual search is the only way, now.

Ctrl+F Edmonds must be the way!

Since I'm a Cardinal fan I probably shouldn't mention this however wasn't there a game last year where it was pretty clear he walked out on a game because he was PO'd but later it was reported his back was ailing him?

You're talking about the Z vs Z Mets game on ESPN Game of the Week.

And then came back to hold St. Louis scoreless for 6 innings!

That incident was overplayed by a lot of different parties based purely on speculation (especially since Z didn't talk to the media afterwards). He also had already thrown 80 pitches in that game.

It was a little more than speculation. IIRC, the ESPN cameras were rolling when Zambrano went storming into the dugout past Rosthschild who was obviously trying to talk to him. Carlos didn't stop and Larry went into the clubhouse after him...

Edit: Actually, ESPN was all too happy to show the incident after a commercial break.

in Carlos' defense his team was playing like a really bad grade school girls softball team that day

He pitched poorly that game. In fact, Victor outpitched him.

Wasn't that the day that the defense was horrible, actually that migh thave been the Rich Hill game of that series, one of the days in NY the defense was just ridiculous.

V. Zambrano was helped by swing happy cub hitters.

It's never a good thing when a pitcher loses his focus in the middle of a game, when he starts kicking dirt and throwing at batters, his mind is anywhere but where it should be. He's lost focus when he hasn't lost his cool, I enjoyed Perez last year going to the mound and trying to straighten his out.

It's part of maturing porcess he still needs to go through, you can be as intense as Kevin Brown (most intense pitcher I've seen) was and not get thrown out or show up teammates.

Well, he was very upset after a bad game, and rightfully so. Zambrano blowing by Rothschild on his way to the clubhouse probably shouldn't be seen as that big of a deal considering his past. Of course, going into the clubhouse to swear up a storm in there is more prefereable to staying in the dugout and punching the wall. But that didn't really have any implications to the soreness in his back, which was another factor. And that probably increased his frustration, as well.

Everyone saw that on ESPN, but Carlos didn't talk to the media until the next day, I believe, and even Dusty didn't say much.
