Aramis was apparently scheduled for one AB, got his AB and left according to the A's guy

I heard something that MLB requires teams to have a certain number of starters in the lineup every day. That could be why A-Ram got his one AB and then left the game.

I think they made an exception with the Giants yesterday....

For a typical ST game, I believe a team requires 4 players that played in the major league last year to keep the fans entertained; however, this rule was relaxed this year because of the WBC; hence, the Giants not having a lot yesterday plus they were a split squad playing against Team USA.

I'm curious if the A's announcers will say anything about the cubs prospects, although they're probably more focused on their own. Let us know if they say something though.

Aramis Ramirez condition: infected finger on his throwing hand

Infected finger? WTF? Is it me or do the Cubs get the most bizarre injuires? I'm assuming it's not too serious.
