Not sure who are the starting pitchers for this game. But the Cubs play aganist the Oakland A's. This game starts at 2:05 PM CT and the Oakland broadcast is available on MLB Radio (Gameday Audio). (edited by Serena to add broadcast info)

Go Cubs!

According to this blog, it's going to be Angel Guzman vs. Dan Haren.

Thank you, and thank you to whoever edited my topic title. :D I tried looking up on Yahoo Sports and ESPN along with Cubs.com but nothing there, so that's why I wasn't able to find anything.

I also have that link bookmarked for future reference as well. :D

It will be Angel Guzman vs. Dan Haren -- I edited into the subject.

Are you sure it will be on mlbtv? It's not listed on their schedule (unless I'm looking in the wrong place).

Excellent! Looks like that's the only broadcast there will be.

Indeed, and if I may suggest, you could edit your broadcast thread to inform NSBB members that MLB.TV will be carrying all the Cubs games during all of Spring Training, in case if anyone wasn't aware of that..

Just a suggestion. *shrug*

I will once we confirm that's the case. For whatever reason, the MLB.TV Schedule isn't showing that every MLB spring training game will be available. They do say "And, get Spring Training games – over 80 games before Opening Day" in the ad to sign up ... but that could mean some, not all, ST games.

If it's on tomorrow, I'll add it.

Fair enough. Just by looking at cubs.com schedule, every game they play, it has the MLB.TV on the schedule. But what you mentioned makes sense.

I have MLB.TV and it does not have the Cubs game on its schedule for tomorrow.

Hmm... well I guess they probably don't update those until game time is near or something. *shrug* I dunno.

Hopefully it'll be on.

From what I've gathered mlb.com has posted a link to mlb.tv under every date for spring training as another way to shill that feature. If it's not listed on the schedule on the mlb.tv home page, it won't be on mlb.tv. The games before today were listed as being on mlb.tv on the Cubs calendar but were only available by radio.

Yeah, pretty slimy imo.

That's what I thought when ST was about to start. I since found out it is a slimy trick to get people to sign up to MLB.tv.

Take this for example. One of the games, I think it was game 1 or 2 against the mariners. You'd think it was on MLB.tv right? According to their sneaky little trick. But if you looked at the Cubs.com and Mariners TV broadcast schedule. NEITHER team was covering it via TV feed. So how do you suppose it can be shown on MLB.tv? Did they plan to buy some camera's just to tape ONE spring training game for only TWO of the teams? And sure enough came the game, and no broadcast on MLB.tv. That's when I decided not to give them my money this year. I opted to spend that same money on trying out DirectTV HDTV instead. Thanks for listening to my rant. :)

But for what it's worth. I think you can hear alot of the games not avaialable in Cubsland, via MLB audio subscription for $14.95 a year. Because as long as the OTHER team has an audio broadcast, you can atleast listen in to the other teams feed to follow the game.

Five Chicago White Sox games broadcast this week but only one Chicago Cubs game? :x :x

It's been noted elsewhere that the Sox are heavily subsidizing these games. It started last year as a means of filling leftover Blackhawks slots, and they're doing it again.

It's highly unconventional to have so many spring games on TV.

For anyone that has MLB.radio. The game will be broadcast by the A's radio network. I will listen.

Thanks -- I edited the first post to add the gameday audio info.

The Cubs were offered more games but they didn't want to air them IIRC.

Anyone know what channel on XM we're on today?

I tried looking on their site and they don't have anything for any team on there.
