sorry to be uninformed, but who is Pagan and where did he come from?

No. 29 OF Angel Pagan. We purchased his contract from the Mets and rostered him not too long ago (a month/5 weeks).

A very fast, career minor league outfielder who was in the Mets organization last year. I don't remember if he signed a minor league contract or if he's an NRI.

Angel Pagan, minor league OF came from Colorado. He can run fast, and....run really fast to catch fly balls.

NRI?

Inexplicably, he's on the 40-man. I had some crazy theory about it when he was signed, something about having the "ability" to call up Greenberg or someone else without having to roster them right now.

Youth was certainly served in this game. Cedeno, Murton, Dope, Wuertz, Novoa, Ohman, Greenberg, Pagan, and Pie all with good games. Even McGhee, with a great job moving the runner over in the 9th, and Soto throwing a guy out at second, got the job done.

We owned, with the exception of Corey. 8)

Hell yeah, and he'll be selling cars soon.

What a great first spring training game!!!
