It's fairly close, but I think this question boils down to one thing:

Would you stop being a Cubs fan if Wrigley were abandoned?

And although it wouldn't feel the same if Wrigley weren't the home park, I will absolutely be a Cubs fan for life no matter what. So I have to pick the Cubs.

While I expect for the vast majority of posters here the answer is the Cubs, I would expect for the majority of Wrigley Field attendees at any given game the answer is Wrigley, if they answered honestly.

I suspect that wouldn't even be close to the truth. The vast majority? Wrigley isn't that nice. If that's all people wanted they could go to an actual beer garden with better prices and selection.

The real question is what do you mean by like? I like Wrigley, have nothing against it, and probably never will. But I'm obsessed with the Cubs, and in recent years I've been extremely pissed at them. So you could say I like Wrigley more than I like the Cubs at any given moment. I love the Cubs though, so the only reason I get pissed at them is when they disappoint.

Since I moved from Chicago to New York 2 years back, the few times I've been to Wrigley there seemed to be a lot more a) corporate people there taking the afternoon off and b) 20-30 year olds drinking it up and not really paying attention to the game. You're right about them probably not being in the majority - my anger toward them probably is causing me to notice them more so.

Are the Cubs winning or losing? Come late Aug/Sept. i could love Wrigley more because of the beers and good times rather than a frustrating Cubs team. At least the alcohol and fun times at Wrigley wont let me down like the Cubs ya know. Tis better to enjoy the suds at Wrigley in late Aug than a poor Cubs team. BUT...... i still go to Wrigley because of the CUBS.
