Rangers moved from AL West to AL Central. Likewise, it's always struck me as stupid that despite being in the same state, the Rangers are West and the Astros are Central.

SOMEONE had to be in the AL West, the only other even reasonable candidate is KC, maybe MIN, every other team in the AL is east of the Mississippi. As it is the AL West is the only 4 team division in baseball

Of course what was really crazy was back in the 2 division setup, Atlanta and Cincinnati being in the WEST despite both being farther east than either STL or CHC.

That makes as much sense as when the NFL thought that Dallas was east (which they still do) and Atlanta was west (at least they finally got that one right when they moved Atlanta to the south). Maybe the people who set up the divisions in MLB and the NFL learned geography from the same teacher. :D

Why not just give people more jobs and add 2 teams? Sure HR's will go up but at least it would be natural and not the juiced balls or steroids. Then we would have 32 teams and MLB could break them up evenly....16 in each division. :D Dreaming as well. MLB could then put 8 four team or 4 six team divisions.
