I'm only rooting against USC because Keith Jackson is so obviously rooting for them. And because I no longer live in Louisiana. If I still lived in Louisiana, I'd definitely be rooting for USC.

This post made me think about how much I hated Texas fans when i lived in Louisiana, and thus I have decided to root for USC.

 

Also, if USC wins, Vince Young will come back, and he'll beat Ohio State again next year. And there's nothing better than Ohio State losing. Unless it's their impending major NCAA sanctions.

Am I the only one not impressed with Vince Young as a passer? Ball doesn't look like it has a lot of zip on it at all. His receivers are getting hammered right as they catch it.

Totally agree. I think he's got a decent arm, but he has really bad throwing form.

You were right on the playcall criticism though. If they really had to go for it on that 4th down, they shoulda sneaked it too. Mack Brown is showing piss poor play calling.

Meant to respond to this but computer froze. I wholeheartedly agree with this. Kids got a lot of talent, but his mechanics are crap (and yes, they've come a long way).
