Those were form betonusa.com

When I get back to Vegas next week I will get the sheet from the Casinos. I know for A FACT the Cubs were going off at 9:1 last week.

I will post the official Caesars/Flamingo card ASAP

I think that the additions the Cardinals have made and Rolen's return to the lineup should put the Cardinals at close to the same level that they were last year. FWIW, the oddsmakers have the Cardinals and Mets as the betting favorites to be the NL team in the WS. The source is betonsports.com

FWIW, Vegas has the Cubs ahead of the Cards to win the NL.

There's more to odds making than just who the oddsmakers see as most likely. The amount of money being wagered on either side of the line can affect the line just as much as any predictive ability of the oddsmakers.

I'd say it affects it more. A golden example is right now the Dominican is paying higher odds than the US in the WBC at Caesar's Palace.

Will I daresay the Cubs have improved their bullpen and bench (picking up Mabry and dropping Macias), our outfield should be more productive, and I won't mention anything about pitching since it seems such a coin toss.

But the Cards have done worse in almost every category. I'm seeing a very vulnerable Cards team next year.
