    But who do they replace him with? I have faith that Hendry could find someone worse. If Pie isn't going to play, then I'd be in favor of a straight Johnson/Lofton platoon. Kenny should be good for a .350 OBP against righties. Even though Reed Johnson sucks he's at least better than Edmonds is. He had no business coming here at all. Was Eric Patterson bad at CF? Did Cedeno look like he could have played CF? I know they tested both of them out there before.

    Look on the bright side. We lost the game but Edmonds is as good as gone. It's about time somebody put that old dog to sleep.

    I can't stand Soriano. He's overpaid and his mental mistakes cost us big time. Dropping balls, getting caught on the bases. It's ridiculous.

    Agreed. The Cubs should sign the best player available. Signability shouldn't be a concern when you consider how much the Cubs make. We need talent badly in the minors. Instead of getting better with Wilken it seems that we have gotten worse.

    Did somebody work with him during the offseason? I haven't seen any of the games but it does seem that he is trying to get rid of that free swinging mentality.

    That's my biggest worry with him...I've heard a few rumors of this and want to see how he measures out. According to the link he's a legit 6'9 with shoes.     Would they keep Gordon and Deng? I would assume Deng, but wouldn't Gordon be a prime candidate to get rid of with his contract situation if they draft the guard? Would Gordon be a legit starter alongside a real point guard? I hope we keep Deng and get rid of Gordon. I also am not opposed to see Thabo start at SG alongside Rose. He is a defensive SG and this might open up more shots for Rose. maybe use Rose similar to Gilbert Arenas in this scenario.
