  1. Allowing Howry to pitch is starting to become a problem. Without his velocity he just isn't good. Marquis pitched well today and now has a respectable era.
  2. 2005 was a terrible draft year for players on Offense. We were 1 pick away from Braylon but after the 3rd pick it gets brutal. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?season=2005
  3. Looks like Vitters has been hitting very well since coming back from injury.
  4. i think Patterson is a pretty good choice too. However, the use of BA in AAA is useless because Murton has 50 points of OBP on Patterson. Patterson does have the higher slugging percentage and higher OPS, but AVG was a bad stat to use I wasn't pointing out the AVG it was merely the first option chosen when opening the stats page. Murton only 1 HR? That's pathetic. That tells me the guy is still hitting a lot of grounders.

  6. Am I the only one who thinks Patterson was more deserving of the callup than Murton was?
  7. I think I'd rather have Patterson over Font on the roster.
  8. This is no surprise. I can understand the Tigers trading for Cabrera but Willis is damaged goods. He showed nothing last year that would indicate he would find his 2005 form again.
  9. Fuentes would be a really good pick up.
  10. Yeah, on paper Forte sounds like he's another Benson clone. Call me crazy for not having too much faith on us drafting good offensive players. On paper? Forte is faster than Benson. He's longer and leaner. And most importantly he's not a beeyotch. Maybe so but at least when reading the scouting reports it sounds very similar to Benson. Strengths and weaknesses. http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?Prospect_ID=1296
  11. So much for my Greece advancing :( It doesn't look good after this loss.
  12. Nagel will rehab with the Cubs in Mesa, he just signed. I really like what the Cubs did taking risks on injured pitcher with high upside. Let's hope it works out.
  13. Yeah, on paper Forte sounds like he's another Benson clone. Call me crazy for not having too much faith on us drafting good offensive players.
  14. My first choice would be to sign Kevin Jones and 2nd choice is Travis henry. Kevin Jones makes a lot of sense.
  15. What a BUST. Too bad I'm not sold on Forte coming hear and being a starter type back.
  16. Any updates on Vitters and Pawelak?
  17. Wood looked unhittable yesterday.
  18. The pitchers that I would be happy with in this order are: Harden,Burnett, and Meche. I don't think Sabathia will be traded.
  19. When you are making millions of dollars and are already in hot water there is no excuse for it. None. Get a limo driver or something. The guy is a moron and he's been a bust. Everybody knew it was a bad pick when he got chosen at 4 and was crying about it. What a head case this guy is.
  20. So far the pick I think sounds like he has the most upside is Chris Carpenter.
