I think rumors of trading Williamson were perpetrated by the Chicago media in an effort to create "news". I never gave them much credence. It's not logical. Williamson if healthy will probably our best relief pitcher. You are right, why in the heck would we trade him when he could very well be our best pitcher out of the pen? -
I would've liked Ramsey. If we can sign Griese I would feel pretty good about our QB situation. He throws some dumb picks but he's not a bad QB. He does get rattled easily though so good protection is important.

read carroll's blurb again. he said his mechanics are what kept him together for so long. Read the article on Chicagosports.com. Rothschild was saying how Prior's mechanics have changed from 2003 up until now and that is why they are adjusting his mechanics.

I think it's crazy that Prior is already making adjustments to his mechanics. How did things get so bad?

The article can be found here. edit - He also includes this link to help explain Prior's injury. Prior and Wood are damaged goods. We might never see a 2003-like performance from both of them ever again.

I'm all for drafting a bigger SG like Brandon Roy with the Bulls pick, but I'd prefer a three guard rotation with him, Kirk and Ben then using Duhon as the primary back-up. And I'd keep Duhon over Pargo. If you ask me Pargo is pretty useless and he seems to be a ball hog.

That's because he got a bigger signing bonus with Texas and could afford to do both. I don't think Colleges can give bonuses and such to students/players.

If life was fair the US would have already been eliminated with losses to Korea and Japan. Instead, team Japan is holding its collective breath hoping Mexico wins this game. At this rate it just might happen.
