    We just got swept by a AAA team. How freaking amazing is it that Florida has constructed a better team than we have by having a 20 million payroll and trading away ALL vetrans? I'm for trading everyone...I'll keep Lee, anyone else can go.

    I could never get that far ahead of myself. With a healthy team coming out of this year. Prior, Wood, Miller, D Lee, Pagan. I see good things. Hendry makes some move to plug holes he thinks he can address and the Cubs'll be back at it. You're counting on Prior and Wood next year?? :shock: Not to mention the fact that next year's free agent class is far from spectacular...wait till the year after next seems completely reasonable...hell...somebody just posted that our TEAM obp is under .300...has that ever happened for a team to finish with an OBP under .300 for the year?

    Setting aside Baker for the moment...I really see no way that Pierre can be resigned...he has been a total and complete failure....(not that he's alone in that)...he's got no arm, doesn't get on base, and is playing worse than Patterson even thought of. I'd say Pie, but I'm hesitant to bring him up and let Dude and the gang ruin him too...

    I've been listening to "the show" all afternoon and he's said a couple times that Wood's arm was sore after last outing (we all know that) but has also said several times that Dusty said if he's still sore today he won't be throwing...Any word on this or is Dibbs just a master of the obvious and making something out of nothing?

    Thanks for the pbp, Fred. I hate living in St Louis so much. Try Maryland, I only get WGN, and somehow I don't get a single game of this series, as they are all on MASN, and I don't get it. I'm in the same boat, plus I have to deal with cardinal fans. MLB EI You expect me to drop $150 to watch this pathetic display?????? :cry: No...I expect you to drop $150 preseason....before you know it will be a pathetic display. :D
