    Good point...5-6 games of Vin Scully makes it all worth it...getting to watch real baseball teams (my local market STL is the NL Central too) also helps kill the pain of the carnival ride that is Cubs baseball.

    Don't feel too bad. I decided to also get mlb.tv so that I wouldn't miss any games while traveling. :oops: Oh yea, I also have XM iin my car. :( I've got XM too...although I feel bad for you...with Mlb.tv, XM, and EI...its like the three horsemen of badbaseball following you around at every turn.

    The OF needs to be Soriano, Pie and Murton every day...Infield needs to be Ramirez, Theriot, Patterson and Lee every day...Catcher should be Soto, with Blanco backing him up... That allows us to move, trade, yard sale, or demote to ball boy Jones, Floyd, Ward, Barrett, Derosa, Isturis, Pagan Starting staff is pretty much the same Z, Lilly, Marquis, Hill, and Marshall Pen is Pignatellio, Marmol, Guzman, Cherry, Cotts, Rapada, with Wuertz closing... There...I just saved us like 20-30 mil in salary...and I'd just about bet that the team listed above (with servicable bench guys) would not play worse than the product currently on the field...We put 1/2 of that money saved towards Miguel Cabrerra...the rest we hand out to fans as payment for making them watch this pathetic team. what are we going to do with ramirez then? Trade? Cabrerra to Left...Soriano to Right? Murton traded...something along those lines...I really never expect any of it to happen (especially the Cabrerra part) I didn't go any further....

    Preferably a lefthanded one who is past his prime and wouldn't take a walk if Jessica Alba were standing at first base wearing a french maid outfit. He's not left handed...but I think Preston Wilson could be had.

    I'm doing it until they actually sweep someone... which will probably be never I'll kick in for the sweep pool again...1/2 years premium for a sweep.. Just FYI for everyone...Freel looks to be hurt really bad...ambulance on the field....

    No way for Eckstein. I don't get including Ortiz.....very good hitter, but not legendary. The Eckstein thing is just a flat out joke.

    When you have a monkey like Hendry running the show what do you expect? Time to clear house. I don't think clearing will suffice. We've got to burn the mother down. the only thing that keeps it close to not being a lost cause is the fact the NL central is playin just as bad right now Except the pathetic Cards just swept the Pirates...we can't let the cards overtake us...we just cant.... :( :( :pale: :pale:

    I'm sure this has been said...but Marshall does not deserve to lose this game.

    The idea of Soriano back to 2nd would be very interesting...yeah, he's a bucher...no question...but you get Floyd, Jones and Murton in the line up every day...You get DeRosa in his best role, that of a super sub...You get Riot at SS and Izturis becomes a late inning defensive replacement...(could concievably even move Soriano to the OF in the late innings if necessary to keep his bat in, Riot to 2nd, Izturis to ss) Not saying I love it, but it sure would be a shake up.
