    I’ve been discussing this with my friend at work. I think he’s spot on (by the way, we are both Filipno Cub fans): Remember Harold and Kumar? Harold's boss wasn't outwardly racist, but at the same time he had that whole "Asian guys like doing that kind of stuff" attitude. That's exactly what this shirt represents. People just don't understand how Asians can be so offended, seeing as they're the "model minority" which is in itself kind of a covertly offensive stereotype, which kind of implies that Asians are docile and quick to please like a bunch of work dogs. It's the same kind of attitude Steve Carell's character in The Office would take. He doesn't consider himself racist, but he embraces stereotypes and doesn't find anything wrong with them.

I remember thinking "What does 'elb' mean and what does it have to do with Montreal baseball? Must be a french thing...." Of course, I didn't notice the Brewers until the early part of this decade when throwbacks became popular.

    What will Derrek Lee have to do to win the MVP next year? Apparently, having more homeruns and better batting average than Pujols doesn’t do the trick. And neither does scoring a whopping 120 runs and driving in an impressive 107 RBIs on a team that only scored 703 runs. And apparently having the best glove in the NL doesn’t seem to matter in the MVP voting. — Erik Len: He needs to hope his teammates are a lot better. Brilliant.

    The ump blew the call, plain and clear. Then he reversed the decision and let AJ take a free base. But.... The Angels should've covered 2nd better to not allow the steal. And if you let a schlub like Joe Crede beat you, well, that's all on you pal.

    And that's fine and good. I do the sam. Why? Because the Cubs and Cardinals have a (keyword here) rivalry. They play in the same division. The Sox and Cubs do not. Unfortunately, the White Sox and their fans never got the memo.

    You're right about the Cards. They do deserve all the accoledes they can get. As far as the Sox, yes they deserve a lot of attention this year, even moreso thatn the Cubs this year. The problem is that despite their recent success, all they can think about is obsessing over the team that plays on the north side of town and in a different league. And this mentality starts from the top of the organization and trickles all the way down to their fan base. Look at their recent promos. Especially last year's Us vs. Them ad. The Sox do have the best record in baseball….and yet all they do is bitch about the Cubs. Ask any Sox fan who thy'd rather see lose, the Twins or the Cubs. The inferiority complex they have was cute at first, but now it’s just annoying. Nobody cares about them because they’re the whiniest bitches in baseball.

    I think the Cubs have a larger nationwide fanbase is simply because America loves the underdog. America, however, does not like whiny, bitchy malcontents hence the nationwide apathy towards the White Sox.
