    I've been waiting for this game for a week! Playoff hockey on my birthday! I think the Canucks will show a little rust in the 1st period due to the week layoff and it wouldn't surprise me if they were down a goal early. But I think they get their legs back in the 2nd. Chicago will have tons of chances, but ultimately Luongo stands on his head. My prediction: 3-2 Vancouver.

    In the playoff years of '84, '89, and '89 I was heartbroken. In '03, I was furious. In '07, I was kind of pissed but expecting it. This '08 playoff experience.....I just feel numb. Like everyone else, this is probably the most successful Cubs team I have ever witnessed. I had a nervous anticipation for postseason ever since they clinched on that Sunday against the Cardinals. It kept on building and building up until Wednesday when Loney hit that grand slam. I knew that at that moment that this was not the year.

    The slogan should be: "Just shut up and play" The season would have been more palatable if everyone involed adhered to this philosphy.

    I have a feeling that this will be enough for the Dodgers. It's sad when a 2 run deficit in the 2nd inning feels insurmountable.

    I would love to see the Cubs just blatantly run up the score on these jerks. I want to see that second class organization humiliated, just as they were in that Red Sox series last year. To hear their mongoloid fans whine about it would be comedy gold.
