Gotta give credit to kU for fighting back. Down 28-7 early in the 4th quarter, and they didn't give up. But Mizzou is clearly the better team. We're number one!

Too bad KU doesn't have a kicker. It would be a one possession game right now. Come on...get a couple of stops. I completely disagree. Mizzou has looked like a much better team all evening. I agree that Missouri has looked better, but KU hasn't looked too bad on offense this game. They've moved the ball down the field on almost every drive. Unfortunately, they have an idiot at kicker and their offense goes to crap when the ball goes inside the 20. Missouri is the better team, but it hasn't been a complete mismatch. They've moved the ball down field, but they've had the refs on their side all night. Mizzou is 2nd best in the nation in penalty yards. Tonight we've been penalized for 130 yards while kU has been penalized for 25. every one of those penalties have been the correct call, dude. No. What about the first one of the game, where your cornerback shoved Will Franklin and Will was then given an unsportsmanlike conduct for shoving him back? Or more recently, when (I forget who it was) was given the same penalty for flipping the ball towards your defender after said defender shoved him? And what about the pass interference call that went against us (which was the right call) only to have your defender slam into Maclin on the very next series with no flag?

These freaking refs are doing all they can to help kU.

I'm the same way. Pretty much all of my friends are either 1) at Arrowhead or 2) at a bar right now. I prefer to enjoy the game distraction free on my couch though. I'll probably have a few beers while I watch the Tigers win, but not a lot. Nervous, eh? Not so confident in your Jayhawks?

The counterargument is that while yes, Florida would likely still be a contender if they had somebody else at QB, that guy still wouldn't be Tim Tebow. He is the only QB ever to run and throw for 20 TD's in a season. Never been done before. That's because most teams have a running back that punches the ball in from short yardage. You don't think that Steve Young, Randall Cunningham, Mike Vick, etc. could have reached the 20/20 plateau if they were given the ball pretty much every time their team got inside the 5 yard line?

Homecoming was founded at Mizzou. How can you root against that? No but seriously, do you really want to see kU playing for the national title? Look at their schedule, it's a complete joke. They lose tonight, they won't play for the title. One other thing... you know how the "MIZ... ZOU" and "ILL... INI" chants are, you know, full of enthusiasm? Have you heard kU's "Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk" chant? It sounds like a bunch of zombies. It's easily the most lifeless chant I've ever heard from a home team. In any sport. Do you really want to root for a team who's own fans can't even get excited for the team? If you want to root for the team that is going to win, root for the Tigers. Mizzou is going to win tonight.

Tim Tebow is so overrated, my God. Yeah, he's ran for 20 TD's. But you know what? The vast majority of those were from within 5 yards out. ONE of those 20 was from longer than 10 yards out. That game against SC where he ran for 5 TD's? Every single one of them was from 5 yards or less. Just because he's his team's short yardage run option doesn't make him the Heisman winner. I think he's a fine player, but an incredibly overrated one too. Let me just throw this out there. Chase Daniel has throw for more yards, more TD's, has a higher completion percentage than Tebow, and has only lost one game. How do you look at that and say that Tebow should win over Daniel?

The talk all week has been about Maclin and Chase Daniel, and deservedly so -- they've both had awesome years. But I think that our tight ends are both going to have big games tonight. I can't wait to see Rucker dragging a kU defender on the ground with him, as he gets an extra 5 yards after each catch. I can't think of one play this year where he was brought down by just one defender.

How many teams are in your league? Those are awful options for your second back, unless you're in a league with 20 teams or something.

There's no way that kU loses to MU and then suddenly appears higher in the rankings the following week, regardless of what MU does against Oklahoma.
