    I guess we just have a different perspective on it. I've always looked at death as a time to celebrate the person's life by thinking of and sharing the good memories that the person brought to you.

    Just my opinion, but this is a pretty classy message board, and it's pretty tasteless to bash a person who just recently passed away. Of course people are welcome to their own perceptions about a person, but is it really necessary to put them out in the open in a thread entitled "RIP Kirby Puckett?"

    I have a guy offering me 100 bucks for my (2) tickets to the Cubs - Cards game on 4/7 (Cubs home opener). The seats are row 2 in section 533. With transaction fees and all that, I paid 48 bucks and some change. Is this a fair deal or could I get much more than that if I really wanted to sell them (which I don't)?

    Does anyone know what other Cubs pitchers are scheduled to pitch today? Also, when is Maddux supposed to start his first ST game?

    I'm actually pretty optimistic about Maddux this year. He looks like he's in much better shape, and I think he was pretty embarassed by the season he had last year. I think he'll be much better than he was last year.

    He's a stud. Too bad he didn't pick Mizzou... No hard feelings though, I wouldn't go to Mizzou either if I was a 5 star recruit. Mizzou is such a mess. Still, he would have looked good in black and gold... If not for Rickey Clemons, Hansbrough probably would have been at MU right now. *sigh* Oh what could have been.

    My God, Tyler Hansbrough is so good. I've actually hung out with him before. Not only is he ridiculously good at b-ball, but he's a really nice guy too.

    Turns out you were right - I'm down the left field line. Not exactly what I had in mind when I bought 110 dollar tickets. I think I'm gonna sell these them. If anyone is interested, send me a PM. Before you get rid of them, if it's the party room...you get free Budweiser from 30 mins before the game to the top of the 8th...so if you drink, you might enjoy being in that room. Depending on what party room you're in....if it's the Coca-Cola Pavillion you'll have a buffet as well. It's the 1944 Championship Room. It comes with free beer, soda, and food til the 8th inning. Definitely a sweet setup, but not worth 110 bucks to me. I don't like getting drunk at baseball games (that's for after the game!) and I can eat before, so with the seats being up a couple levels, I don't think it's worth it. What date are those tickets for? Sunday, 4/23.

    What about this? All you gotta do is mention that you're also including a baseball card in the sale. That's how you easily get around that. By the way, I put 2 SRO's up on ebay for the 4/22/06 game as well. I hate scalping to Cubs fans, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
