  1. Great! My Syracuse love for the Colts will continue!
  2. I miss listening to Don Cherry on Hockey Night in Canada, especially during the playoffs.
  3. any team will trade any player to any other team for the right price Yep. I'd want Marmol, Hill, Gallagher and another prospect if I were the Stro's. Marmols out of the question. I dont care whose on the table. Anyway, I highly doubt that they would trade him, much less within the division, and the Yankees and Red Sox would end up battling it out. I'm sure the Cubs think so but if I'm going to trade my ace I want a lot of very good talent. Look what the Marlins got for Beckett.

  5. These other relievers are killing Marmol by not doing their job.
  6. You sound like a jilted lover! I was wondering how you'd feel about this, well....how do you feel about this? Don't really care. His time came and went. He is a smart guy, but isn't embracing this new era of player development. His success was based largely on 75 cent on the dollar trades like Edmonds, McGwire, Woody Williams, Darryl Kile and Rolen. Those just don't happen anymore. In a market like Cincinnati, I don't see him having much success unless it is despite himself. The Reds do have some young talent to rape and pillage and it gives him a second chance after failing to build up/trading your farm.
  7. The Cub nation turns it's lonely eyes to you.
  8. I thought Coors was a little hard for curve ballers as well.
  9. Are you Garps father?
  10. ...which is exactly why people shouldn't be creating threads entitled "Best Record in Baseball!!" Argh!! Didn't the Brewers get off to a start like this last year?
  11. Maybe Melo should give him some weed to calm him down a little.
  12. This is a lot better than thinking about getting the first pick in the draft.
  13. Ick...am I allowed to say cuss words like that? I'd like to see: Fuku Soto Lee Ramirez Soriano DeRosa Johnson/Pie Theriot/Cedeno

  15. If Dusty can dumb down Jocketty, maybe Hendry isn't that bad of a GM after all?
  16. I honestly don't think it will, considering Jocketty was fired by St. Louis for not embracing some of the new school thinking in developing their farm system and team. He and Dusty are a match made in heaven for each other. I didn't realize he was that old school, Dusty old school, when it came to players. I've always respected him as a GM.
  17. Good move by the Reds. This should get interesting with Jocketty and the Dusty man.
  18. May 10 vs. Arizona - 12:05 PM Buy Tickets Now > Webkinz Lil' Kinz black bear 1st 10,000 fans, age 13 and younger# Hook us up, Roast! That's right, Roast. I'm 13. Give me my Webkinz for my little girl! Wow, my daughter would love that as well. Are they still doing the American Doll giveaway day as well?
  19. FYI, I was in New Orleans for Seans start and he was really pitching there and making hitters look foolish. His CB was really good that night but his SL was hanging a little and that what got him into trouble in the 7th. His velocity has been great as he has been between 90/96 with his FB and he has been hitting his spots. I talked with him as the team was leaving New Orleans and he figured out what it was he was doing wrong with his SL. Todays game as I watched it everything was working as he had the hitters off-balance. His CB/SL today today were nasty and and hopefully this continues. As for the game He really mixes his pitches well and can't say anymore than that but he really manages his game well at this point. What is Seans routine warming up before a game?
  20. All he has to do is pretend that the ball is the guy that created those headbands and shirts and I'm sure the ball will be jumping off his bat.
  21. I would assume their goal every year is to get to the WS. Hey Glass, nice to see you around again! I figured you'd come out of hiding when the Huskers got good again or the Cubs were doing well! I don't think the players were thinking of just putting the fannies in the seats but I'm sure there was a time when management was. It remains to be seen if he huskers will be good again, but Bo would have been my choice in 2004, and he was definitely my choice this time around. I'll take a .700 winning percentage and one of the best offenses in baseball 3 weeks in any day of the week though. I wasn't necessarily in hiding, just busy with my supervisor gig at PayPal and wrapping up my master of arts degree in leadership at Bellevue University (I have 1 class left tomorrow and then I'm done!!!!) How is life for you and Mrs. Cuse sir? Well congrates on your masters and the supervisor gig! Lifes good here. My bride is still the best move I've ever made and my cuse teams are young. Football wise, I'm not so keen on Robinson but he did recruit well and the basketball kids are young and good. It's been fun watching the cubs do well over the past 20 games has it not? I do like Ronny thinking the Cubs can win it all but as far as I've seen, his focus hasn't really been that sharp so I would just like to see him play ball and keep working on getting better.

  23. Belt high, middle-in, looked like a mistake breaking ball that just kind of rolled over. Thanks bukie. He seems to be able to hit middle out pretty well so far and I wonder why no one is challenging him inside.
  24. I think he just wants to avoid the Chip Caray Syndrome of thinking every fly ball was headed for Waveland. Yeah, when the ump is yelling infield fly and Chip was calling the ball to be a HR, it kind of kills the excitement.
  25. On the Grand Slam Ronny hit, where was the pitch?
