If Grace doesn't get in, who he gunna call?

Is there any doubt that Duke, UConn, Villanova and Memphis are the top 4 seeds so far? Who could possibly jump in there if one were to lose right away in their conference tournament.

I didn't notice T Squared. I casually watched the game until the UConn vs Villanova game came on and only payed attention to it in the last 5 minutes. Tough loss and a quality win for Indiana.

And the outcome of the game makes it even funnier. :D That was a HUGE win for IU. They've now won two in a row, including one over a ranked team. Hopefully they stopped the slide in time to still make the NCAA (I think a win or two in the Big Ten tournament would seal the deal). As crazy as the Big 10 has been I don't see how anyone can say any game is going to be a definite win.

I hope Woody doesn't rush it and does what the Drs. have told him to do. I'd rather have him ready a little later than for a couple of games early and gone for the season because he went too fast.

I agree, Dusty has no choice in the matter. If Mabry or Grissom play more than once every two weeks, the Cubs will be a 4th place team. I'll be surprised if Murton plays more than 3 times a week unless he is on fire and then it'll be 5 out of 7 games tops. Then you will be surprised. I hope so bmkhawk....I truely hope I am. I just don't see Baker changing his ways because IMO he's just way too stubburn.

Real Cub fans wear shorts to every game no matter what the temperature is. Maybe that's why those $80 Cubs blankets sell so well in the gift shop. ':D' They better be made of old Cub uniforms at that price.

Who's Murton and Soriano? I heard a report on ESPN Radio that was from a Texas Coach and he said Soriano can't even catch pop ups. He said he has a horrible time going back on balls hit in the air.

I teach my pitchers let the baserunner worry about you and you worry about the hitter. It just isn't an easy thing for pitchers to do sometimes. Granted at my level runners have more of an effect but IMO concentration is what makes some pitchers great and others journeyman.

I heard RJ buzzed Damon with a fastball in ST BP = hahaha! I saw that too....I suppose that's how Damon got his hair cut.

I think there are certain intangables that some players bring with them. Randy Johnson with a ball at your head and if you're a left handed hitter you can't tell me you feel comfortable standing in there. Rickey Henderson on first base...no one can tell me that every MLB pitcher forgets he's there and just pitches. A great hitter is difficult to pitch to if he has a small zone and hits mistakes out of the park and pitchers try to get too perfect and miss their spots. These guys are the best of the best but they are not some robot that just produces numbers for rotisserie leagues.

That was probably the worst final 12 minutes played by any team in Division I basketball this season, with the exception of the other 5 times Tech has done the exact same thing. 5 points in the last 12 minutes ? 7 ACC loses when leading at the half ? Brutal. You guys are having a tough year. Are you still happy with that coach from Siena? I am. It's tough to replace 88% of your offense and the top 6 players in minutes/game. No team in Division I has seen more minutes played by Freshman and Sophomores than Georgia Tech. I thought they'd be further along at this point with the level of talent on the roster, but I underestimated again, the importance of leadership at the point*. Look no further than the 9 losses by less than eight points this season --- 7 of those in ACC play. The reason Tech played for the Title two years ago was purely based on who handled the ball. This year, it's not happening. Tech is going to be a lot better next year adding two of the top players at their position, particularly Crittendon at the point. I think next year they will be a tournament caliber team without question. The following year they could be poised for the deep run. *see Wake Forest as well after Chris Paul's departure (2-10 in the ACC with basically everyone returning but Paul) You sure? I figure KU, UNC, and Memphis State give them a run for their $ in that stat. You're kidding....Memphis St is that young? Wow.
