He just ran along the sideline and got extra yards just before that. Right before the hit, he changed his course and made a clear move to go out of bounds. But you can't really blame the defensive player in that position for diving like that. Exactly. That call drives me loco. A QB acts like he's going out of bounds and then turns in....it's unfair to the n'th degree.

I don't know if having Bonds would make it worse for the Cubs or better. If the game was played on a computer it would be a no brainer but the circus that follows him may be a huge distraction to the team.

Syracuse should have beat Wake in Wake if they didn't fumble a ball late in the game. Congrats to Wake Forrest.

Interesting batting order Diffusion. :wink: I'd like to see that lineup and it gives some insurance if Theriot struggles even though it would take away Jones platoon partner.

Nixons back problems bug me. Unless he would except a 4th OF type deal I don't think he would be worth the gamble. -
Is he looking at a multi year deal or is he just a one year guy? Didn't he do ok last year?

I would imagine Hendry would target Cliff Floyd if Jones was traded. Floyd makes Jones look like a gold glove OF.

1. It's not guaranteed Soriano will be at a corner OF spot, he'd certainly have max value in CF. 2. Rollins is going nowhere. 3. The $64 question: can Matt Murton play RF? I don't see why not, his arm is certainly no weaker than Jones'. Burrell, Soriano and Murton, you'll need to convince me what's wrong with that outfield offense. Big production. I don't see Mr. Hendry going all righty like that though, he's pretty old school when it comes to that IMO.
