  1. It does look that way. That pass by White was a little too high. You can't beat a good team with 4 turnovers.
  2. I don't know how Florida has smoked and mirrored the season as well as they have. Is Leak a senior?
  3. Yet they can't against SF. It's pretty funny to watch a club like WVU, who once tried to convince the nation of their national title credentials, struggle with a ballclub like South Florida. The fact that they are just illustrates that the Big East is a small time conference parading as one of the big boys. I'm not sure how you can take any conference game and prove anything. Florida and SC did the same thing several weeks ago-did that prove the SEC was a small time conference? The only way you can really measure a conference is their non-conference play-the Big East was good against that, but very unproven at the same time (lots of wins, bad competition). It's all a matter of perspective-you can take this game and say the Big East isn't very good, or you can take the same result and show how the conference is deep enough that the middle teams can beat the top teams. It's very hard to tell which of those interpretations is really the correct one. BTW, South Florida up 21-12 now. I think this is totally a fair statement to make and you cant have one game be an indication of the total conference. However, it doesnt look good for WVU. This i feel sure about. Thats a harder nut to crack. I think you could break down every team and who they played to prove they were good or very good. Look at Ohio State. They beat Texas and now that win doesn't look so good. They beat Michigan who hasn't beat a good team out of the conference other than ND. Then look at ND and see who they have beaten. The team that has impressed me with quality out of conference wins is USC but they blew it with a loss to a good Oregon St team.
  4. I remember when this team (Florida St) was so dominate on offense, it's like time passed them by. Earlier in the game they showed a stat of how good they were in 2000. Since 2001 and Bobby's son took over they went in the tank big time. I think this is when they lost the Off Coord. who is now the coach of NCState. The offense is really pathetic. They cant run the ball or pass block worth a damn. I hate watching them play now. IMO this team just doesn't have any heart either, no tough resolve.

  6. Maybe they should play D2 schools instead like your buddy Barry? Why do you think they are so scared to play any BCS teams out of conference? USF is a D2 school. They'd suck in the MAC for Christ's sake. You're funny. Do you do stand up too?

  8. I've only owned two jersey with numbers on them and those were Alan Page's 88 and Carl Eller's 81. OK, they were just sweatshirts but I loved those shirts when I was younger. I do wear number 23 when I'm coaching.
  9. Ever since South Florida went to that young QB they have been one tough team.
  10. I thought that Pie hit lefty too? That could be kind of messy.
  11. Or sign him for 5/55. The market's crazy, Cuse! My lord you're right! I suppose to buy low it has to be in players then, wow, you're probably right about that deal....especially if he remains healthy. Or is while he's hurt?
  12. It might be a good chance to buy low for Hendry.

I'll just say we'll see when the bowls are played. Get your excuse ready because I'm sure you'll have one.
  14. Cool picture Mr. Hogg! That young man is a heck of a player.
  15. If the Big East teams get beat in the bowl games I will not be making excuses and I would expect you to do the same if the Big East wins. Your complete and total hatred of the Big East is clearly clouding your judgement of the conference and because of this your opinion is EXTREMELY biased. My point of view comes from actually watching the games on the field. I'm not from the east coast and have no ties to any schools out there. I also don't have any ties to any west coast schools seeing as UC Davis is DI-AA. The only team I dislike is Notre Dame but I have the ability to analyze their situation with an unbiased perspective. I think that Louisville and West Virginia are good teams based on what I have seen on the field. I am not the only person who holds this belief. Like I said, if the Big East loses their bowl games, I won't make excuses unless they are justified (i.e. referee screwjob a la Oklahoma-Oregon). I would expect you to admit you are wrong if the Big East wins their games but I know you won't so that effort is futile. The same goes for Wisconsin. After this, I'm done debating you on this topic because of your extreme bias. Get an unbiased point of view and then we'll talk. I had absolutely no opinion of the Big East conference until Cuse, backed by you, kept dominating every single college football thread whining about them being shown no respect. you have noone to blame for these conversations other than Cuse and yourself. WVU and Louisville are good teams. I never said the weren't. but the notion that they could play with the power teams in the power conferences or should be considered for a shot at the national title is absurd, and I think deep down you know that. the fact that two of them are rated in the top 10 is also absurd, because I think deep down you both know that the rankings are based mostly on incumbancy, and with no teams other than each other (and the improved Rutgers team) on the schedule with even a ray of hope to beat them, they will remain highly rated in both polls. your accusation of bias, similarly absurd. I guess they guy who has his schools nickname in his username is on the up and up and completely unbiased. the Big East used to be a fine conference, but they just lost their three top teams. you want to paint calling a spade a spade as biased, be my guest. Not to mention that neither WVU or UL has beaten that improved Rutgers team yet. WVU has yet to play them yet but don't let facts get in the way.
  16. He looked like a man with little kids hanging on on that play.

Whined, yeah maybe. Why? Because of people like you that have such an incredibly closed mind when it comes to this topic. You are not alone by any means and because of assumptions like the ones you make are the reason why I have to get the message out. Having blinders on just because I'm a Syracuse fan is just plain silly to me. You prove soccers point once you mentioned that it's "absurd" that they even have a team in the Top 10. You're the one that bias Jigman, not me.
  18. I hate those tackles when the defensive player grabs the shoulder equipment and pulls the player backwards.
  19. you don't get it. Louisville is the same team, just in a crap conference that still has a BCS tie in even though it shouldn't. the fact that they are a National Title contender is a black eye on the system, not a chip in favor of Louisville. further, the point was more addressed to showing that the top team in the Big East is behind the 3-5 teams in the Big Ten in terms of how good the programs are, not a testament to this year. all your glorification of Louisville's program pretty much goes down the drain when they can't beat crap teams in crap bowls. sure, they are a good team that is probably improving, but they still have a ways to go to be considered in the same breath as the second tier schools in the good conferences. I don't know how many ways it has to be explained and demonstrated to you and Cuse. all you guys have is your opinions and seven degrees from Kevin Bacon to make your point. I guess we'll just have to wait until bowl season when all three Big East teams get thumped by lower ranked teams, at which point I'm sure you'll just come and make excuses. So the fact that the Big East has the second rated conference in the Sagarin Ratings means nothing to you? not a bit since the Sagarin Ratings have always overemphasized point differential which always favors offensively dominated teams. Of course you don't. By the way, 6 of the 8 teams (75%) in the Big East qualified for bowls, how did your conference do?
  20. Ha...well at least you now control your own destiny.
  21. Colt is down and looks to be out pretty seriously right now. I hope the kid will be ok for the bowl game or the rest of his career.

  23. Poor IMB....that one non loss is going to kill him even more now.
  24. Why the heck would that Texas A&M guy do that to McCoy? What an idiot.
