  1. his SLG is .384, that's extremely pathetic for a corner outfielder. Especially one who's supposed to be a "power hitter" And couldn't catch a beach ball. He just looks uncomfortable up there to me and either be a hitter or somebody else should be out there that at least can play defense.
  2. He seems to be swinging a heck of a lot better, Lou has to go with the hot hand. I'll bet Floyd whines a lot when he's not playing compared to Ward excepting what his role is.
  3. Loads of bad swings today, especially by Floyd.
  4. Hard hit balls like that sometimes stick in your glove differently and are harder or a change from what your used too.
  5. And hit as well? He does have poor pitch recognition but he has had success doing it.
  6. Ump gives Hill a little bit of help on that curve. I hope he's not expanding his strike zone because that'll hurt a comeback.
  7. I haven't seen many games this year but the Cub hitters look sluggish to me.
  8. This is why ERA is not that great of a tool to use to evaluate a pitcher. If an INF gets out of the way of a ball it's a hit.
  9. Good point....see ya later and don't let the monitor hit you in the butt on your way out.
  10. Didn't you see him next to Lou in the dugout?
  11. Very good spot by Williams. Floyd looks like it hurts to swing and can't hit anything that isn't dead red.
  12. OK guys/gals....let's please focus on the game instead of each other. Thanks.
  13. Floyd is going to have a big game today....I just feel it! Why was Berkman so far off the line for a hitter like Theriot?
  14. Way to battle back. Now it's time for the offense to pick him up.
  15. Hill just has to work this off but he is missing by too wide a margin today. It's time to show a little heart right now by Mr. Hill.
  16. FORE!!!! Is Berkman a low ball hitter because that seemed to work for him. I'd like to see the Cubs bounce back and score some runs today.
  17. Cousin lovin hits new high in Happy Valley! Nice win by your boys, they played both sides of the ball well by the looks of it. Welcome back, Cuse (though I know you've been posting for the last few days). Thanks soccer. Life has slowed down some so I'll be on more. Who are your picks to take the good ole boy award this year?
  18. I don't know but that was strike 3 and not ball four....that's all I have to say about that.
  19. Cousin lovin hits new high in Happy Valley! Nice win by your boys, they played both sides of the ball well by the looks of it.
  20. Seconded. I'm okay with giving Marshall a break, but Hill can't be skipping every other start. Yeah...I'd like to see Trachsel and Marshall alternate starts. How is Trachsel with 6 days of rest? I hope he's a guy that throws better when he gets more than the average rest between starts.
