Call me crazy, but I'm sensing the Cubs will at least tie this game at some point. Soon. That is all.

I'm not gonna be disappointed if Mitch turns out to be a wasted pick. That said, you all are putting too much stock in the first game of the season. Neither offense looked very good. Shock since neither offense played much (if at all) in the preseason. It showed. Sure the defenses dominated, and I think there's gonna be plenty of spotty, inconsistent play the first two weeks all across the NFL. How many wanted Nagy fired after game 1 last year? I think the biggest difference for the Bears between this year and last will be that they play a first place schedule. Not a lot "gimmes" on that schedule.

By "years", I assume you mean the past 2 only. Because three years ago they were in the NFCCC and won the division 5 of the previous 6 years.

So I assumed that not having cable meant he/she thought the game was on NFL Network. Take it easy David. Nobody was questioning your smarts.

pick up an OTA antenna for like 20 bucks on amazon if you're near a big city Or just turn on your local NBC station. The game is not on the NFL Network.
