  1. I know MItch hasn't played very well, but why is #4 in the game??
  2. Think they got it wrong there. The ball was coming out before he stepped out.
  3. That should be ruled a touchback, ball for the Bears. I think he was losing possession before he stepped out of bounds.
  4. In case someone rips another player’s helmet off and tries to hit you in the head with it?? :dontknow:
  5. He's also on a much less talented team (offensively, anyway).
  6. If you're looking for a specific brand / model, go to that brands website. If not, try eBay or that Facebook selling page or something of the like. I'd also go to your local golf courses. They often have single clubs as well as single refurbished clubs on sale.
  7. He did not specify which season he's referring to.
  8. Fun read, thanks for posting.
  9. Will not be surprised if the margin of victory is single digits.
  10. Maybe they have some talented players but just aren't a talented team. Better QB play certainly is a (big) part of it. But they averaged less than 6 wins per season the five seasons prior to last year. And this year they're on Pace to get 6 wins. Maybe last year was just an outlier year.
  11. Eh, it's only a factor when Eloy's not nursing a leg injury.
  12. That guy could eat apples through a picket fence!!!
  13. Bears did not lose ground on anyone in the NFCN.
  14. Strasburg opting out of his contract with the Nats. He's a free agent (eventually).
  15. I know they're up 2 games to none, and that maybe figured into the decision, but I think Davey-boy made a mistake letting Sanchez bat in the bottom of the 4th. They were down 2-1 with one out and a man on third. Sanchez couldn't get a bunt down/put the ball in play and ended up striking out. Turner makes the third out and the score stays 2-1 'stros. Houston grabs another run in the 5th and 6th off Sanchez and it looks like maybe that was a turning point. I gues with Sanchez and then Corbin going tomorrow, the Nats were thinking they might need the bullpen either/both days. But I think I would have tried to tie it in the fourth and put the pressure on the Astros the rest of the game (assuming the PH gets the run in).
  16. Sure, that game was bonkers, but the idea that the Packers get often get FAVORABLE calls to win NFL football games is a new concept to me. Clay Matthews agrees with theBird.
  17. What was wrong with his outing tonight? He should’ve been in to face Rendon when they were up 3-1 in the 8th. Got it! I misread what you wrote.
  18. What was wrong with his outing tonight?
  19. There's a lot of really good coordinators who were not very good at head coaching.
  20. Surprisingly, the Jets have made the playoffs 6 times since 2000. The Dolphins have 4 times. The Bills - once.
  21. On the surface, this may seem impressive. But in four of their wins, their point differential is +115. The combined record of those 4 opponents: 1-17. And the point differential of those four teams is -242. The one game they played against a "decent team, Buffalo (4-1), they won by less than a TD. So really not that impressive. The Pats are a very good team and excellent franchise, but they benefit every season that B&B have been there by playing 6 games against perrenial dregs, and 2 games against third and fourth place teams in the AFC and NFC. Just the 6 games in their own division almost assure them of a playoff spot at worst, and HFA. Is it any wonder they've got so many SB appearances? I wish we could play 4 games against the Dolphins and the Jets every year You can throw the 2 games each year against the Bills too. Since 2000, they have won more than 8 games 3 times (9 each time) and only won 8 games in three other seasons. And that's playing four games against the Jets and Dolphins each year. The Bills have been quite awful as well.

  23. That dismissing the "time change" issue and the fact fact that the Raiders are up 17-0 means they're "better" than the Bears. The better team doesn't always play better/win. I'm not dismissing any time change, I'm saying the way CHUCKY dealt with it is kicking Nagys ass and Nagy is the reason we are losing today. I know you're not dismissing the time change, but your question was, "... if the time difference isnt the biggest difference in this game....". I'm just suggesting that the better team doesn't always play better and/or win. And I'm wondering how many people b!tching about the time change have ever actually traveled to Europe from Chicago. It's certainly not as brutal as some are making it out to be. It's not like they're playing on the other side of the world.
