I don't follow the baseball draft quite like I do for the NFL, but here's something that's done on a Packers Forum I go to that I think is a good idea. It's great that there's a thread following the MLB draft as it unfolds. But why not 'sticky' a thread for each Cub pick once it's made (at least the top couple picks). Then specific comments could go under that thread once the pick is made and it could stay 'stickied' for a day, a week, a month....whatever time frame you choose. So it would look something like this: Cubs Round #1 - Kris Bryant - 3B Cubs Round #2 - Rob Zastryzny - SP Cubs Day Two Picks - Rounds 3 thru 10 Cubs Day Three Picks - Rounds 11 thru 40 2013 Draft Day Thread In the Day 2 and Day 3 threads, the first post could track the players as they're selected by editing the post. And then the rest of the post could be dedicated to specific comments like their signability or when they actually sign, where they're assigned in the organization, etc. Just a thought. :-)
