  1. Remember when we all thought Billy Beane was fleeced in that trade?
  2. Every aspect of this season can be summed up by one word: INCONSISTENT.
  3. Benefit of the call.
  4. Wade gets the first two outs. The a triple followed by a double. Tying run at the plate for LA, 4-2 in the top of the 9th. How many years did Colorado sign Davis for?!?!?
  5. Trout 5-5 with two dongers. He's pretty decent.
  6. Wade Davis on for the Blown Save Opportunity against the Dodgers. Rocks leading 4-1.
  7. This might be a hot take.............but I actually don't think it was a tough play at all. He just whiffed. He should have caught that. He makes that play 9/10 times. Unfortunately......
  8. Brewers have a pretty easy remaining schedule, especially if the continue playing well against the sChlubs.
  9. I am not in Chicago. We get national GN. Victor bomb! Awesome. Neither am I. My local antennae picks it up though. Was just saying it might not be on satellite unless you have an extra innings package. Channel 213 MLB Channel
  10. Missed in all the excitement was that his teammates gave Caratini an apple and a carrot and then brushed him.
  11. Toothy (Teethy) with a Slam!!!
  12. “Hey bud” Norris loads the bases in the bottom of the 9th and then uncorks a WP. Sh!tbirds go down to Tigers.
  13. Perfect going into bottom of the 9th. Came over from the VBs in the Moustakas trade.
  14. Never gets old seeing Victor's teeth in the batter's box.
  15. I will put as much effort into this game thread as drinky joe put into the first game's lineup. wanna know the starting pitchers tonight? look it up yourself. what channel? check your guide. what time? who cares. and who really knows anyway given the weather. the lineup? probably the ineffective one since the other team's pitcher is bad against everyone else. have a blast.
  16. Mine was F’d for a few weeks. Kept getting an error that the various pics I tried couldn’t download or site address was incorrect. Then it just worked one day although I do miss my waving Packers flag.
  17. meh. he does Doo-little for me FIFY
  18. Not certain. But if you ask the same question tomorrow, the answer will probably, “Yep, he’s back in form of an ace.”
  19. Settle down boys. Q's 5th inning hasn't appeared yet.
  20. I would start Chatsuck. "Why", you ask. Here's my strategy. Use Chatsuck and let him make one pitch. Worse case scenario, you're down 1-0 (Cubs clearly don't score in the first or are the home team). Reality is, the ball isn't anywhere near close to the hitting zone. So most likely, the count is 1-0 (as opposed to the score). Immediately pull him and replace him with anyone else on the playoff roster. I don't know if this would work or not. But at least at a critical point in the game (or any point for that matter), Drinky Joe would be unable to even think about using Chatsuck, let alone, actually bring him into the game.
  21. A shutout and maybe an RBI hit for Q. That would just about guarantee a victory.
  22. I guess we can always hope gor a Q shutout.
  23. Never give too much blame in bad times. Never give too much credit during good times.
