  1. Murphy RBI single, and the Nats trail the Cards by 1 in the top of the 9th. First and third and only 1 out. Bud Norris is very average.
  2. Scherzer can’t seem to find a team with a consistently good bullpen.
  3. YOU SAY SADDY I've been referring to him as Baddy.
  4. http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/24400000/The-Silence-of-the-Lambs-Fanart-the-silence-of-the-lambs-24452862-500-268.gif
  5. I agree with above. No reason to give him away or "blink first" on a so-so trade. The Cubs are pretty good this year with a sh!t rotation. Adding Harper or Machado and they can still be pretty good with a sh!t rotation. Maybe, just maybe, not playing everyday turns him around. At least enough to raise his value.
  6. Drop Miguel Sano (MIN)* Add Jose Ramirez (CLE) *I'm super glad I kept him the entire time he was in the minors. And now that he's back and actually hitting dingers, it's time to jettison him for Ramirez. Last move of second half.
  7. Weiters reaction is awesome. He doesn't even hesitate going to the dugout. :D
  8. in the video, Weiters knows immediately it's the ballgame.
  9. I thought ARod was excellent with commentary in the playoff last year. He’s dreadful on Sunday Night Baseball.
  10. “Murphy one of three Nationals not to strike out tonight.” Great observation Matt. So, like, 1/3 of their line up hasn’t struck out. Thanks.
  11. But those numbers are from years past. This years Cubs hitters are not really hitting like Cubs hitters of the past, with the exception of Javy (better than in the past). Of course, with their Jeckyll and Hyde outputs this year, they’ll probably chase Max in the fifth inning.
  12. Cubs have 46 games remaining. If they finish with 90 wins, everyone gets one more chance at starting a thread (with itsallpartoftheplan getting tomorrow and one more. Hopefully it comes up well short of happening.
  13. Not certain which instills less confidence - a previous Chatsuck start. Or facing Scherzer. A push, I guess.
  14. Sitting in the upper deck down the left field line. Wind is coming across from at a pretty good clip.
  15. Engelberg ......reincarnated!!!
  16. And Peralta can't get an out in the 4th before being lifted. His line, you ask: 3+ innings, 7 ER on 7 hits, 5 BBs and 3 Ks. Yep, he just needs to harness that moving fastball. #-o
  17. About 12 Ks/9 is pretty good. Must have some pretty good movement in his pitches, which might explain the wildness at times. Yeah he’s getting results but he throws like 80% FB in the 88-92 range and it seems like it’s more deception than movement from when I watch. His curve is very pedestrian 22 year old pitching (decently) every 5 days for a team (flawed) in the hunt (not for long) is pretty good (until he's not). :D
  18. His command has always been shakey. Idk how he’s much more than replacement levelish with his 88-92 MPH FB wild in the zone with no real breaking or offspeed pitch About 12 Ks/9 is pretty good. Must have some pretty good movement in his pitches, which might explain the wildness at times.
  19. Peralta pretty wild for the VBs. He's pretty good, and will be very good with any control.
