    Can't blame Howry for that. He did his job. It should be 4-3 heading into the bottom of the 8th. He allowed all 3 runners he inheireted to score. I don't think that's doing his job. He needed to come in and get a ground ball at all costs. Or a K. But he got the ball too far up in the zone to two batters.

    How so? He got two fly ball outs. It's not his fault The Village Idiot took out a better fielder in RF. Howry gets out of that inning with, at worst, one run scoring if Jones stays in the game. Howry needed to induce a groundball. Instead, he's given up to fly balls.

    At this point, I think I'd prefer to see Jerome Williams. TG, a K by Williamson. Williamson has a 2.08 ERA...why are you down on him? (present situation not withstanding) Because he can get wild. And Jerome Williams isn't wild? Um, I didn't say anything about Jerome Williams. Kat has asserted that she might prefer Williams on the team....Banedon question why....you responded for Kat...

    no real wind today. they just weren't far enough. It's blowing out to right and a little left to right at 7-10 mph right now. A little cooler than it looks on TV, too. Swirling at times, though. Jon, how did you put the lovely photo of Guz in your signature? I can't seem to figure out how to put photos in the signature....help?

    Okay, that was a brilliant interview! BRAVO. Sean Gallagher comes across as articulate, focussed, and very nice. Count me one of his biggest fans. This is going in my signature: "They can feel however they want about how I pitch but it's not going to help them, because I'm going to go out there and I'm going to dominate either way. " ...and ya gotta love his love for NSBB! Yeah baby yeah.

    Do you honestly believe he's slower right now and that he'll be faster in June or July???? If he's so slow now, why is he 7/7 in stolen bases? According to those numbers, if anythings he's faster now than he will be later in the summer...
