    i don't think people really thought he would opt out Thats what I was wondering, because his name has been so quiet in this. I know Dirk has commented about loving Chicago, and personally I think him, Rose, and Lebron would work great together.

    Have no problem with Byrd not playing, and Soto has started the last 4 games and with tomorrow being a day game he was going to be sat either tonight or tomorrow more than likely anyway.

    Grabow was placed on DL, James Russel has been called back up. Stevens also back up as the Cubs put Z on the restricted list.

    Listening to Pat and Ron tonight during the game, and they were discussing Jackson. Ron went so far as to say he expects Jackson in AAA before the years over, and that he will be a Sept. callup this year. Does anybody else see this happening, or is this just Ron talking about stuff he really has no idea about.

    In the very post I quoted you stated you were hoping for the Cubs to suck. In fact you called it awesome. no, i didn't. trying reading it again. I clearly stated, and I quote, "if we are going to suck this year, this is what i want." i'm saying that if the cubs are going to suck, they might as well tank hard to bring about changes and a higher draft pick. none of this 79-83 and minor changes stuff. either you have tons of trouble with simple reading comprehension, or you're just being willfully ignorant. considering you do this constantly, i think i know which one it is. Regardless of your hairsplitting the point stands -- you sure seem to enjoy this. Wow you have to be the only person on this site who doesn't get what hes saying. I'm guessing had anybody else on here said it you wouldnt have a problem with it.

    You have got to be kidding me. Why should DLee stand there and let Z rant and rave like a [expletive] lunatic? Z was questioning his effort and Im sure Z's act has worn very thin on the whole team. Lee had all the right to tell Z to shut the [expletive] up, its long past due someone did.

    It seems clear that he was mad at himself as well. Yea thats why he was yelling at DLee and the defense for not diving. He was placing the blame on that inning on his defense, instead of blaming himself, something Z has done repeatedly throughout his career.

    How can you like someone making a complete ass of himself and the Cubs, and making the Cubs even bigger laughing stocks of sports than they already are? Z's act is beyond old, and going off on a teammate is completely uncalled for, especially when it was Z who was getting hit harder than Brett Myers wife.

    Ok Ozzie just made me lmao for the 1st time ever. Him and Z supposed to do a charity thing tonight and go to dinner, a reporter asked him if they are still going, Ozzie responds with, "I hope so, hes had plenty of time to make the reservations for us". Hahahaha
