Who said anything about 60 wins? I see no reason to think they can't win 50 to 55. They should be in the hunt for a top 4 seed in the playoffs. Right now Boston and Orlando r prob better but other than those 2 I don't see a team clearly better than the Bulls especially if theu get a shooter. You said you'd put them against any other team in the east. That sounds like a 60 win team to me. I'd put the Heat, Celtics, and Magic as better, and the Bulls probably on the same level as the Hawks and Bucks. Yes I'd put them against any team in the East in a 7 game series and think they have a legitimate shot at winning. Also how the [expletive] are you putting the Heat better than the Bulls, they have 4 damn players come on. Same level as Hawks and Bucks? I don't see how you can say that with a straight face.

You think Carlos Boozer + 3 point shooter + young guy development - Hinrich - Miller = 20 game improvement? I'd think more like Boozer + shooter + 20 extra healthy Rose/Noah games + youth development - Hinrich - Miller - Warrick/Murray minutes - Pargo = significant improvement. Exactly. SSR likes to ignore the fact that Rose played hurt for about 7 weeks last year, and Noah missed significant time too.

Its more that if Lebron goes to NY, that makes Cleveland irrelavant, and Im not scared of New York with Lebron and Amare. As long as Lebron doesnt go to Miami I can see the Bulls getting a 3 seed. Don't forget that the Bulls record last year is a little skewed based off Rose playing hurt for the 1st 7 weeks of the season. Its not as big as leap as you think it is.

This is what is confusing me about max deals. 5/80 is 16m per. Amare got 5/99.7 or nearly 20m per. The Atlanta guy got 6/119, nearly 20m per. What the heck is a max contract? Is it fluid for every player? Its based off their last years salary I believe.

If Lebron goes to the Knicks, and the Bulls sign a shooter like Morrow or Redick, Ill put the Bulls up against any team in the East and like their chances. Lebron goes to Miami all bets are off, but signing Boozer makes the Bulls better, and a shooter makes them even more better. Rose and Boozer on the pick and roll should be pretty damn effective

The All Star game quit being a "game for the fans" as soon as Selig made home field advantage in the World Series go to the winner. If they want it to be for the fans then make it meaningless like it should be, because the fans shouldn't have a say in helping decide who gets home field.

Masochist that I am, I still watch most of the games. Partly because I have several Cubs on my fantasy team, partly to see Castro/Colvin, and primarily out of morbid curiosity. Several Cubs on your fantasy team? You must be in dead last.

How about continuing to put Ryan Theriot in the leadoff spot? How bout continuing to play Theriot over Fontenot? How about leaving his starters in too long because of some ridiculous fear of the bullpen? How about the numerous times this year he's let a pitcher hit, only to change pitchers at the beginning of the nxt inning? How about him burning thru players in close games like yesterday? Waste Nady, and then send Fuku up just to bunt instead of using Dempster who leads the world in sac bunts the past 2 years?
