    Wow.. Well with the rationale of it being ok that Colvin misplayed the fly ball to him because Ludwick did too, why isn't it ok to say that he should have caught it since Ludwick caught that one?

    Are you serious? Wind is ridiculous. That was a pop-up. Hard to blame Colvin when the exact same thing happened to Ludwick. Considering its Colvin's home field, its not the same. Also its not the first time Ludwick has struggled defensively in Wrigley Field.

    Yeah, let's trade Vitters for a proven veteran like Yuniesky Betancourt. Jersey Cubs Fan is right. Let's move Vitters now before he loses his prospect tag in 2016. It's amazing to me how bad people are at reading. Either that, or how afraid people are to admit when a prospect they have hope for is playing poorly. It's not like admitting he sucks right now commits you to a lifetime of hating Josh Vitters. He sucks, but maybe in the future he won't. Let alone when a guy they don't like is playing well. For example, Colvin, Tyler Colvin is playing well? He started out the season well, but hes definitely not playing well right now, or over the last 2 months.

    The Cardinals dont have the prospects to get Oswalt without giving up Garcia and Shelby Miller. Even with those 2 Im not sure that gets it done, and from all reports the Cards arent interested in trading Garcia so.

    CUBS WIN! I dont care if we win another game the rest of the year against any other team, but beating the [expletive] out of the Cardinals the rest of the year would be fantastic!

    damnit He hit a rough patch there a few weeks ago, but he's been very good over his last five starts, including this one. I still don't trust him to maintain this level. Could other teams highly value Wells based upon his MLB numbers to date and his low cost? Im not sure how much more Wells needs to do to gain some trust. Hes thrown almost 300 innings the last 2 year, and pitched pretty damn well. Hes cheap, and effective, which as a 4th or 5th starter is pretty damn valuable. Not saying hes untouchable, but we probably wouldn't get more value back than what Wells gives us.

    Ok so I was 1 at bat early 7 actually. 1 actually. Soto, 6 other outs, a sac bunt and a walk. That's 7 AB, or 9 PA. Sotos 1st at bat out, his 2nd at bat HR. Thats 1 AB off for predicting a Soto HR. If I had said here comes a HR and not specifically said Soto you would be right.
