  1. If Im a Sox fan Im pissed Dye isnt on that team. Hes OPS'ing 920 how is that not an All Star? Although I do think its funny the players didnt even vote Pujols on the team. I wonder if thats saying anything about how the players feel towards him?
  2. I understand what you are saying but Fontenot and Murton werent brought up in our system, they came over in trades.
  3. If Glaus isnt a bitch on strike 2 he probably gets strike 3 called a ball. But after the way he acted he should have been swinging at anything relatively close plain and simple. Hell one could argue Glaus shouldnt even been allowed to finish the AB because Ive seen players kicked out for a lot less than what Troy Glaus did tonight.
  4. Ive been pleasantly surprised with Samojoiuaoiu since his move up
  5. Ok Ill post this here since I found the thread, Duhon has apparently signed with the Knicks.
  6. If the Brewers get Sabathia, he'll likely be able to make anywhere from 12-15 starts for them, depending on when the trade goes down. Will he make that much of a difference in those starts to overcome 4.5 games in the standings, I don't know. But it could come close to being a push. I would love it if we got up about 7 games over Milwaukee and they traded for Sabathia. He's not going to make up 7 games, and if he doesnt re-sign with them, they just wasted prospects. Well they wasted prospects they currently have, but they would also have a good chance at having 5 of the top 40 picks or so if CC and Sheets walked. So they really wouldnt "waste" them, and Id trust their organization with 5 picks a hell of a lot more than Id trust the Cubs. Sure, the Brewers have a better track record with early round draft picks but either way, prospects at AA are much surer things than a potential draft pick. Of course thats no doubt. However since LaPorte and Gamel play positions the Brewers already have locked up with young kids. It seems like a no brainer if you can get a guy like CC, and then turn that into 2 1st round pitching talents where they need the help.
  7. Please let this be the sign hes turned the corner, he could play a very very important part in our 2nd half.

  9. Damn Lous a genius playing the percentages on this one........ :D
  10. Well, we need this one because I dont like our chances tomorrow night. Split 2 in SF, and go to Stl and sweep them bastards.
  11. The problem with letting Sabathia walk if we trade for him, is its the Cubs front office who has to decide who to draft with those 2 picks.
  12. Yeah, this would be another example of their classless organization. There are enough examples of that without something like this
  13. And the Cardinals win.....
  14. http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2008/06/kerry-wood-says-hi-to-viewing-audience.html Check out Kerry during Saturdays game... :D
  15. Oh how Id love for Eric Gordon to go to the Knicks.
  16. Ok Jim Edmonds is on a tear. He may hit 30 this year lol
  17. And lets not forget Ludwicks non catch the day before
  18. Hell its not even mean stuff, its the damn truth.
  19. I know. It's not like they've lost their Ace, starting catcher and the best hitter in baseball all in the span of a week. Super Lucky! Todd Welleymeyer, Skip Schumaker, and Ryan Ludwick. Luck has been shining on your asses all season.
  20. What happened?
