    Honestly, if the Bears DLine can get pressure on Manning this game could surprise some people. With Saturday out, and 2 newcomers to the line also, its not that far fetched. Biggest key is the Bears HAVE to stop the running game.

    Michael Smith was just on ESPN, saying that Bradys injury is major, and is probably done for the year. Supposedly the NE locker room was pretty somber after the game, and they all expect Brady to be done.

    So the season starts in about 45 mins. After todays depressing Cubs loss, it sure would be nice if the Bears would come out and surprise the hell out of me. With that said Im fully expecting a loss.

    Personally, Id like to see them give Edmonds a breather. Hes been playing ALOT. Call up Pie and let Pie get a couple starts while Jim rests and gets his body refreshed for the playoffs.

    Because the Cubs are the best team in the NL and they are going thru a slump. It happens. It really doesnt matter who they play, they are the best team.

    Ummm, Milwaukee had to face Peavy and Young in back to back games. The Padres are the 27 Yankees next to that pathetic Reds team that we lost a series to. I'd say losing 5 of 6 to a bad Astros team and a pathetic Reds team would be melting down. You are crazy if you think the Padres lineup is better than the Reds lineup we just faced. Its not even close really. Young has been terrible this year. The Astros are one of the hottest teams in baseball and we had to face Oswalt as well, and 2 of our best pitchers arent pitching.

    Color me confused how it can be said the Cubs are melting down, and you expect Milw to sweep Cincy? Milw just split a 4 game series to the worst team in baseball, and has been playing just as badly as the CUbs. So please explain how the Cubs are melting down, but Milw isnt?

Every team has to have a whipping boy for the fans, and its Cedeno for this board so one poster can't stand that this board loves cedeno. and you can't stand that cedeno is this board's whipping boy. which one is it? is anyone just ok with cedeno? Its a hell of alot more people than just 1 person who dont like Cedeno around here. YOU'RE FULL OF CRAP. THIS BOARD MASTURABTED TO THE INFINITE POTENTIAL RONNY CEDENO UNTIL ABOUT MAY The all caps I guess is supposed to make the more meaningful?

    I think Cedeno blew that save I don't remember Cedeno giving up 4 base runners. I remember Ronny having the game right in front of him. A routine DP. That's what I remember. If Wood could throw the ball over the plate, Cedeno wouldn't have had a chance to make that error. There's no excuse for not throwing strikes. Especially against crap hitters in the bottom of the order.
