He could've stole that on Jesus. Jesus probably would have at least taken a step toward the bag. Why take the chance of going to the bag, and Soto throwing it away? With Font standing still he eliminated that possibility. That strategy worked well. 1-0 Cards. Are you kidding me?

He did throw a sim game the other day and I've heard he'll be on a 75-80 max pitch count. I don't know how accurate the PC number is, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to bring him back to pitch 4-5 innings with an already over worked bullpen. Over worked bullpen? Are you crazy? He really needed to use every pitcher in the pen except mop up guy Thompson in last nights 8-4 loss. Huh? All I was saying is that the Cards starters have had some short outings of late and the relievers have seemed to been picking up a lot of innings in the last week. Unless I'm terribly confused by your post. I think your terribly confused by his post. Hes being sarcastic about Larussa bullpen management.

He rolled over had his arms and legs all sprawled out and laid there smiling for like 5 secs. Hes a douche plain and simple, and again I cant wait for till he gets the treatment Robin Ventura got from Nolan Ryan. From the time he caught the ball to the time he threw the ball was less then 3 seconds. So no he didnt lay there for 5 seconds. Also he just made a great play. God forbid he actually smile and enjoy it. I mean this is baseball.. no fun allowed. Hes a douche plain and simple, you arent going to change anyones minds on a Cubs site of this fact. Hes going to get plunked, or get his teammates plunked alot if he doesnt stop acting like a douche. Never said he doesn't act like a douche. Everyteam has them. Some teams have more then 1. But saying he laid there for 5 seconds was wrong. And if they want to throw at him, go ahead. Sorry I didnt count in my head the exact number of seconds how long he laid there like you did apparently.

My goodness, that Sandberg is a piece of work. Constantly arguing with umpires and getting ejected. He is so disrespectful. Minor league umpires hardly make any money. They're just the common working man and they have to deal with this jerk of a millionaire who never gives to charity and thinks his stuff don't stink. I hope this arrogant, pompous, creep never manages in the bigs. Anyone who disrespects minor league umpires should be fired. The minor leagues are all about helping the kids become major leaguers. Then again, he never cared about his own kids - why should he care about others. Silly me. Barry Bonds is an ANGEL compared to Sandberg the horrible. :rotfl: -
