    Card fans over at gateway redbirds are having a fit. Not too happy about Welly or their offense. They got off to such a start that had them thinking that team was good. They were all hitting like crazy the 1st month, but the entire team has remembered they arent good. Hell Yadi was OPSing over 900 for awhile, and their pitchers were getting extremely lucky(see Pinerio, Franklin, Lohse) by not giving up Hrs and not striking guys out. The team isnt very good plain and simple, but they all think getting Carp, Luddy, and Glaus back will fix everything. It wont

    After 1 batter Harden looks to have pretty good stuff today

    Hoff is getting royally screwed. Lee has look lost at the plate, and cant catch up to a low 90s fastball. Yet Hoff who has out produced Lee from the middle of last year cant get a start at 1st base. Glad to see Scales in there though, anything that takes at bats from Miles is a good thing. Oh and after looking through the numbers, Im glad Marshall and Lilly are starting vs the Cards, instead of 2 rightys. Cardinals as a team are OPS'ing like .650 against leftys, and over .800 vs rightys. Lilly and Marshall need to start against them as much as possible.

    If there has ever been a pitching mismatch, its this one right here. With that said, we will prob lose 12-2 now haha. Just kidding I think we win this game 8-3. 3 solo shots for the Stros.

    The Cards are a mess right now. Yep. Sucks that Ludwick had to go and get hurt when Pujols was slumping. And don't get me started with the roster. It's just constructed piss poor right now. 6 middle infielders. SIX! And TLR is still playing the worst defensive 2b in baseball at 2nd instead of the outfield where he is a plus defensively. And that outfield spot is being taken by a guy that has a minor league OPS below .750. Oh yeah, our starting pitcher filling in for Carpenter had the lowest starter ERA on the team and was yet to lose was sent down to make room for Brendan Ryan. Lets be honest here. We all knew that start the Cardinals had was an anomaly. Late into April STL starting lineup was all hitting over .300 and that was with a bunch of nobodys in it. Yadi started out out of his mind. Stl starting pitchers werent giving up any HR's at all, and Ryan Franklin was yet to give up a HR or a run until last weekend. Its not a shock to me that they have fallen, and fallen hard. Their roster just isnt very good.

    Hitting a guy. Not watching so I don't know if there was any warnings or anything beforehand. Apparently he threw a pitch behind Kinsler who went deep twice last night. He was then warned, and he still plunked him on the next pitch lol. Nice comeback Lackey
